Alex Kitchen in Husum

The food gets 4 stars, but the packaging also deserves a star due to its sustainability. Very cool concept.

Addendum: Unfortunately we don't have dinner with Alex as often as we would like. Now there is also Corona and you can no longer come to eat. BUT: we were allowed to test the delivery service today and are thrilled! Thank you Alex and thank you to your team, the usual outstanding quality, delivered just in time, everything could be enjoyed warmly! We have nothing to complain about, that wasn't the last time you were allowed to deliver to us

Very tasty fresh food. Finally a restaurant with more than 5 vegetarian dishes and high quality meat. Absolutely child-friendly, everyone had a smile on their faces for the child and we could practically "put together" a dish from the side dishes ourselves (yeah, finally a restaurant where the mini doesn't just have chips, sausages or noodles). When we are back in Husum we will certainly look back! Maybe one day you will be in Kiel or Lübeck 😊 PS. For a few more side potatoes, we would pay a little more per dish 😉

The burgers were awesome. My wife really liked the vegan variant, I had the Surf'n'Turf and it was perfect. The service was super friendly, the price-performance ratio unbeatable. We will definitely come back on our next vacation

We were there today around 4 p.m. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere was just great. We ordered the cheeseburger with potato wedges, which was delicious. There is nothing to complain about, therefore 5 stars.

Discovered by chance on vacation and ate there twice. Very modern furnished and equipped. The menu has something for everyone, whether meat, vegetarian or vegan, everything is possible. The staff is super friendly and not too good for a little chat either. The kitchen staff is also in a good mood, even late at night (open kitchen). We will definitely eat here again, at the latest on our next vacation;)

We stayed nearby for 2 weeks on vacation and went here for dinner the first week. Because we liked it so much, we went back to Husum to see Alex Kitchen in the second week of vacation. Both the decor and the menu are super modern. There are many vegetarian and vegan options, but there is also enough choice for meat eaters. The homemade iced teas, the cocktails and the food itself are very tasty. In addition, friendly staff and no long waiting times. It's a shame that Alex Kitchen isn't near Goslar / Hildesheim / Hanover, we'd be regulars for sure!

We were here twice on our short vacation in Husum. So many vegan options and almost every dish can be "veganized". Super tasty, friendly service. Would have loved to try so much more. Had the Thai curry tofu and the mezze plate for two. Delicious!

For Husum, the "gray city by the sea", a nice change. Stylish, Asian-style cuisine. Great, especially for younger customers. Vegetarian, light cuisine. Inexpensive purchasing for the provider, affordable for the customer. Unfortunately, some meat or pieces of fish are used extremely sparingly. I like to be there now and then.

The food and the service are really great! Stella served us and we particularly enjoyed her attentive service. We ordered burgers and, as already mentioned, the side dish is a bit smaller but it still fills you up. Above all, it should be emphasized that the "fries" were made from fresh potato wedges. We paid less than 15 euros for a drink and the burger, so the price / performance ratio is unbeatable.

Excellent cuisine with German, Mexican and Asian dishes. You get very tasty desserts, drinks and cocktails. There is a rain-protected outdoor and an uncovered lounge area. All generations feel at home here. You should reserve in advance. Spontaneously there are no more tables between 18:15 and 19:30.

This is not a purely vegetarian restaurant as indicated on Google. Food is very good. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Gluten-free also possible. There are no waitresses, apparently because of Corona. North German charm ...

Would go again

The food was delicious and I was really happy with the service. However, the side dish portions are very tight among the citizens. That's why I ordered extra potato wedges! However, I didn't see any difference to the normal portion 🙄 Even the waitress had to look twice to see which was the larger portion 😳

Tasty restaurant with lots of vegan options, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Noodles were a little undercooked and staff weren’t able to tell us confidently the allergic information for an item. However, despite these minor hiccups would definitely recommend for anyone traveling through.

A small, fine restaurant with the usual delicious food! We were given a very friendly welcome and on our day of honor there was even a little greeting from the house! Great!! If we go to Husum again, I know where we will eat something! Many thanks to the whole team!

Really very good tasty food and a cozy restaurant. The service is really very friendly and there is a large selection of dishes (including vegan etc.). Since it is very well attended, it is best to order during the week or simply order something to take away. I would eat there again anytime!

Great food that is not the same boring thing. The food is cooked in the open with great selections of food that isnt normal in this area, the service was perfect and everyone was friendly, the plus side is are unusual server was funny, nice and could.speak good english( this is hard to.find in smal towns in the north) It is worth a try. Plus they cook in the open for those germafobs.
